Mr. Craig Kabatchnick’s Biographical information:

Craig has nearly 25 years experience handling VA and administrative military personnel matters.   He spent five years (1990-1995) as a Senior Appellate Attorney and  Associate Special Assistant on the Appellate Litigation Staff, Office of the  General Counsel, United States Department of Veterans Affairs, defending the  VA in over 300 suits brought by veterans..   Since that time, he switched sides and has represented veterans in matters before the VA for the past 12 years. He was recently recognized by the North Carolina Lawyers Weekly in a feature story about his work for veterans, especially during the many years he  was the only attorney referred VA cases statewide by the North Carolina Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service.   He is an established expert in filing VA claims up to and including the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.   He is also knowledgeable in filing widows claims for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) and widows pension.   Craig will also handle the filing of Social Security Claims arising out of  the Camp Lejeune groundwater contamination situation.   Craig is an Adjunct Law Professor and is the Supervising Attorney and Director of the Veterans Law Clinic at North Carolina Central School of Law,  also involving students from the University of North Carolina, Chapel  Hill.
