General Discussion-Camp Lejeune Water Contamination

Presumptive Illness for Heart Disease is not listed!

Postby acheerman » Thu Aug 02, 2012 7:41 pm

I am hoping that in the future Heart & Pullmonary Diseases will be listed as a Presumptive Illness due to the Contaminated Water at Camp Lejeune. The EPA has listed over 70 Toxic Chemicals and Heavy Metals on its report title Contaminants of Concern at CAMP LEJEUNE MILITARY RES. (USNAVY) (EPA ID: NC6170022580) dated August 2, 2012. Many of the Contaminants of Concern listed can cause multiple Cardio/Pullmonary diseases, as well as many other diseases that are not listed.

The number of people with Heart & Pullmonary problems listed in the registry seems to out number all other illnesses related to Camp Lejeune, why was there only four Toxic Chemicals considered?

Thank you for all for your hard work in getting HR 1627 passed.

I am Forever Grateful,
Aaron Cheerman

Cutty,
Do some homework. The ATSDR and NRC are the agencies that dictated what went in the bill, not Jerry. They are the scientists who are influencing Congress, not Jerry. If you do not understand the basic events and facts it would be wise for you to not participate in this DB as you are making a fool of yourself.
I invested two years of research on this issue while being treated for brain cancer. Now just man up and do some research. Mike Partain's timeline is a good place to start as it is an accurate chronology of events as we know them.
The hallmark of the people involved in this DB and Camp Lejuene illnesses has been there ability to work as a team to help one another. Why not come on board and join the team?

It's the Marine Corps that needs a heart transplant, maybe they can get one cheap from China. Dennis

You can put this on my VA tombstone:

Here lies a Marine from Camp Lejeune
He drank the water and wished he hadn't 'aughter
So take out your clarion and play him a sad tune
Because time ran out and he gone and bought 'er
