Please visit our home page and read about the upcoming Water Contamination Forum. It is being held August 31 in Wilmington, NC. If you are unable to attend, there are other ways that you can be heard. Print off the flyers and take them to your local VFW or American Legion halls. Send them to your local news media outlets. We need to spread the word that our veterans and their families may have been harmed. I have been fighting this for 7 plus years. Some of you have just found out. Others have been in this fight longer than me. Doesn't everyone deserve to know?

Everyone does have the right and the need to know. Lives may be improved with knowledge of the contamination. Some doctors have looked at my husband and myself as if we flew in from Mars when we tell them that he was contaminated at Camp Lejeune. With a letter in hand, it may be quicker and easier to prove our point.

Mary and Jeff, I'm going to be there. If you hear of any one else that wants to go & needs a ride, please contact me. Although I can't give them a place to spend the night, they can most certainly ride with me from the Charlotte area. I plan to leave Friday morning & return Saturday.

I would really like to be at the meeting. I need a ride to the forum. I can get a room, if I'm sure I can get a ride to and from Wilmington. Sandra Bridges, you say you can provide a ride from Charlotte. I think I can get a ride to Charlotte. I have an old truck and don't know, if it will make it all the way to Wilmington. I need to know soon, if I can get a ride because I need to make arrangements for a room. It would be good, if I could get a room in the same Motel that you are staying in. I emailed you the other day. Did you get that email? Please contact me with an email and I will give you my phone number.
I think it's real important for us to have a lot of people at the meeting. The more people who show up, the better the results of the meeting (hopefully).

Mrs Bruce, I have seen both your emails. I have answered both. In case you have not seen them. Yes, certainly you can ride to Wilmington with me to attend the forum.
