These rapes have included men, women, employees, and patients. The article includes a link to a counter view of the VA system's recent progress, but my opinion is that the fact that the ranking official that they sent to the hearing could not tell the committee how many rapes had occurred since the GAO report had been published is pretty damning and indicative of a failure of the VA leadership to give this issue the kind of scrutiny that it deserves and that it MUST!!!
