Lejeune Survivors Now Living In Western Pennsylvania

Postby pbrtaken » Wed Sep 10, 2008 5:31 pm

I'm looking for people who were once stationed and/or living at Camp Lejeune, NC during the water contamination years. I was affected by the toxic water, as was my family. We have all suffered because of it, so we should join forces to make our voices heard. I now live in a suburb of Pittsburgh, but am quite familiar with Westmoreland County also. Email me at MzPBnJ@aol.com if you're tired of feeling alone in this fight.

Way to go Peg, get out there and fight! What Peg is suggesting in her posting has a lot of meaning. Not only do we need to band together for this fight against the organization that did this. It is also comforting and extremely important to be able to share your own tragic circumstances with others who understand. Networking is a very powerful tactic, it is up to all of us, let's go to work, we can make a difference..........Jerry Ensminger

Looking for past Camp Lejeune Neighbors

Postby Jooz » Sat May 02, 2009 3:53 am

Hi,
Exhusband was stationed at Camp Lejeune from 1967-1968 after a tour in Vietnam & while at Lejeune I got pregnant with my son & I worked on base at the PX Purchasing Office. We lived just outside the base in the Piney Green area and I am looking for two couples who were our neighbors during this time.
Roger & Josie Hockenberry, from Chambersburg, PA and Frank & Joanne Reda, not sure if they were from PA or IL ?

Here's hoping they have picked up on what all we were exposed to during that time of our life and now some big questions to our health problems are now being made more clear than ever....with this injustice done to the proud men and women who unselfishly served our country and their families...who stood beside these proud soldiers! God bless all during this time of need!

Cheers, Jooz

Hi - My name is Lauren Parisi and I was conceived at camp lejeun in1965. My family lived on base from 1960-1965 and 1969-1971. All but my brother have suffered serious health problems we believe was a direct result of contaminated water. I now live in Pocono Lake Pa. Is there any one around my area? I am setting up a meeting with Arlen Spector and Bob Casey, our senators, anyone interested in joining me? I believe we have the 4th largest group by state of people affected. We need to TAKE ACTION! I would like to set up a meeting after the holidays so please respond before then. Also, anyone who could help direct me to a lawyer - seems to be impossible and I believe this is needed in order to file form95. THANKS My email is laurenmparisi@yahoo.com
