Any1 written 2 CMC and CMD SgtMaj and told 'em had they betrayed us?
I like this quote from the last link:
Watching the USMC in action before Congress proves equally revelatory. When directed to inform those posted to Camp Lejeune from 1957-85 of the health risks they run, the official representative demurs, coldly claiming it would be “too difficult.” In parallel hearings, lobbyists for the chemical industry show more passion in defense of their pollutants than the Marine Corps musters in defense of its soldiers’ threatened well-being.

Thanks and SEMPER FI

"The man who will go where his colors go without asking, who will fight a phantom foe in the jungle and mountain range without counting, and who will suffer and die in the midst of incredible hardship without complaint, is still what he has always been, from Imperial Rome to sceptered Britain to democratic America. He is the stuff of which legions are made. ... His pride is in his colors and his regiment, his training hard and thoroughly, and coldly realistic, to fit him for whatever he must face. ... And his obedience is to his orders. He has been called UNITED STATES MARINE."

Ben, I just discovered thsi site but have followed in the newspapers whenever there was an article. I was at Camp Geiger in 1969 and possibly again a few years later at Camp Lejeune. I have had bladder cancer, joint pain (two surgeries) and severe gastro issues that I think could be related. Where in the world to I start to confirm if the contamination may have been the culprit. Should I be waiting for to see what Congress is going to do finally?

Thanks in advance for providing any start point.
