Morning All,
I saw this entry posted on the TFTPTF Facebook page by my old friend, Fred Powe, and I wanted to add it here as well. Fred and Carl (I met both back in 1981 at Camp Lejeune) had been back in touch with each other for only a month, and like many of the Marines of Camp Lejeune, Carl has had health issues over the years, but until Fred told him about it, he was never informed by the Marine Corps about the water contamination on the base. Anyway, Carl is very ill right now and located thousands of miles away from his family, however, arrangements are being made for them to get to him. Fred and I would appreciate your prayers and warm thoughts for him and his family. Thank you so much. Holly

Good moring Family. I'm writing to you this morning too ask for your prayers for the Moore family. Last month, I found a buddy who I served with at Camp Lejeune in 1980 and 81. We were together at El toro, Iwakuni, Camp Bulter Okinawa, and Kwan Ju Korea. He worked in 8th Eng mail room. His name is Cpl Carl Moore. Our MOS were 1391 Aircraft Refuelers and Bulk Fuelman. I recieved a call this morning from his wife, and was told that Carl, while detached in the middle east had a stroke and Kidney failure. So, please send out your prayers too his family and him for a speedy recovery. Thank you.
Mr. Frederick D. Powe;
