Marines in Massachusetts

Postby LagoonVet » Sat Jul 04, 2009 8:59 pm

I'm looking for former Marines living in Massachusetts who are affected by the contaminated water at Lejeune. I was stationed aboard Lejeune from 85 to 89. I lived in Tarawa Terrace base housing from 1985 to 1986. I remember several families from Mass that lived in the same area I lived in, so I know you're out there. We need to get together to pressure our Congressional delegates to act on our behalf. Together we stand and they know it. If there are 2,180 former Marines registered from Massachusetts then we need to form it up and sound off. Lets begin the contact process and start communication by posting on the discussion board first then we can take it from there. We need to do this now.

I am a retired Marine living in Billerica Ma. I was diagnosed with Mantel Cell (non-hodgkins) lynphoma stage 4 on November 1, 2007. I have undergone 2 Bone Marrow Transplants and several courses of chemotherapy. I am still being treated at MGH and the spectre of auto immune disease still looms.

I was stationed at CLNC off and on from 1959 to 1965 and my first two children were born there.

I also have 3 tours of RVN under my belt and that means possible exposure to agent orange.

I was 100% disabled (by unemployability) before 2007 but due to present VA policy am now just 100% due to this Lymphoma. (presumed until physical shows improvement after treatment)

I put all of this down someplace but I don't know where to find it on tftptf.
